About Lady Evangeline
of Kerry
Good Afternoon,
If you love the Tudor Dynasty, and Historical Fantasy, you have come to the right place.
I’ve always loved Tudor England. I went from reading stories of knights and kings battling dragons, or of an ancient queen who has the power to bring down the sun. I also devoured books written by historians, most of them having doctoral degrees and have been curators for various history museums and historic royal palaces.
Some of my favorite historians are Dr. Lucy Worsley, Dr. Owen Emmerson, Dr. Susanne Lipscome, and, of course, Claire Ridgeway.
It’s funny how easily a love for this time period goes from a mild interest to a lifelong obsession.
My academic interest has shifted to historical fantasy. All the what if’s, and wouldn’t it be fun if’s, and what if Anne Boleyn was that era’s Taylor Swift? This marks the beginning of our journey of writing my first Historical Fantasy books. If you choose, please follow my blog, where you will get updates on the progress of writing this book from the title to the end. The first book in the series is going to be a challenge for me. My goal is to write a historically accurate fantasy novel.
Occasionally, I will post historical fantasy stories made from plot points that didn’t make it into my books. Sign Up for my newsletter (here) and become one of my Crown Jewels.
Toodle-oo,
Lady E
